Raysync: As Ares Studio embarks on its second year with Raysync, how would you describe your overall experience with the platform?
- Prashant Verma: My experience with Raysync has been fantastic, especially with the incredible speed. Then, what surprised me was its user-friendliness, Raysync has a simple interface and easy integration into existing workflows. Furthermore, we’re hosting Raysync on our server, so reliability is not a problem.
Raysync: Before adopting Raysync, what file transfer tools or solutions did your team rely on? Were there any specific challenges—like speed, security, or file size limitations—that led you to explore Raysync as an alternative?
- Prashant Verma: We used to rely on OneDrive and Google Drive. OneDrive is extremely slow, and Google Drive has limits on file size. These problems affected our work efficiency seriously. Raysync is like a gift from God, and it helps us solve all of our troubles! Raysync is a good solution for those enterprises that need to transfer massive files securely and efficiently.
Raysync: Based on your use cases, which features of Raysync do you consider most valuable? How have these features, such as transfer speed or security protocols, enhanced the efficiency of your file transfer processes?
- Prashant Verma: Raysync's transfer speed is a significant advantage. As an enterprise-grade SFTP alternative, it greatly improves our work efficiency. Not only does it streamline team collaboration, but it also provides exceptional performance and security.
Raysync: How has your experience been with Raysync's customer and technical support teams? We would love to hear about their responsiveness and how effectively they have addressed your needs.
- Prashant Verma: Customer support has been great, especially Joey. She is always ready to help us any time.
Raysync: Now that you have been using Raysync for over a year, are there any enhancements or new features that could further improve your experience? What areas could be optimized to fit better Ares Studio’s workflows?
Prashant Verma:
- Raysync needs to drag selecting files instead of clicking that tiny box in the corner if I want to choose 20 out of 300 files. Drag selection works in all file transfers like Dropbox, Drive, etc.
- There needs to be a global search for files. Currently, the search filter only searches the open folder and not inside any folders.
- The delete button should not be inside the ‘more’. It just wastes time to go inside the ‘more’ button.
- 2024 is nearly ending, but Raysync still does not have a dark theme.
- There should be an easy way to check recently visited folders.
- Raysync needs in-built version control. It can be another paid service to buy since it will take time to implement and manage, but I would still super appreciate it.
Raysync: Based on your experience, what advice would you offer to other businesses, especially in media production or similar fields, when choosing a reliable solution for large file transfers?
- Prashant Verma: I will recommend Raysync! Their commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service make them a trustworthy choice for customers.
Raysync: We greatly value your time and insights. Your feedback is crucial in helping us better understand user experiences and needs regarding Raysync.
Thank you once again for your thoughtful participation!
